As veterinarians, often wish we had more to offer our patients concerning
matters of the "heart". This is especially true when their owners are not able to take
advantage of available referral services.
Come join us for Dr. Blount's acclaimed "Practical Cardiology" Seminar. Don't miss
the latest information and updates in Veterinary Cardiology which have occurred in the past
2 years since this seminar was last presented.
This Seminar will cover the Cardiology topics most commonly seen in
small animal practice. For example you'll learn about:
- Is the cough cardiac, respiratory or both?
- When does your patient need pimobendan and when is it
not appropriate?
- What do the squiggly lines on the ECG really
mean?
- What are the latest CPR Guidelines of the RECOVER
Advisory Board?
- How do you keep staff trained and ready for CPR to
maximize patient survival?
- How do you tell the difference between an ejection
murmur and a holosystolic murmur (we will review audio of murmurs and arrythmias)?
- What are the latest ACVIM recommendations for
managing congestive heart failure?
You'll gather a wealth of cardiac care knowledge you can put to use immediately
in your clinic, plus fulfill your total 2020 CE requirement.
